Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre has hit out at home fans that barracked Luis Garcia during yesterday’s defeat to Sevilla.

“We are fortunate to have Luis Garcia with us, he is a charming guy and a great professional,” said Aguirre at the end of the 1-0 defeat. “If the fans boo, they’re not just booing Luis, but the whole team.

“What we have to do now is turn the page and not give a reaction to the fans that booed.”
